Stable base currencies, like USDT, provide more consistent results and performance on Cryptohopper. Volatile base currencies, like BTC and ETH, can cause drastic changes in your portfolio value and open positions based on their current price.

I generally recommend you use a fiat or stable Base Currency like USD, EUR, USDT, etc.
